Description
The Epiphany Equation
A metaphysical comedy-drama based on an extraordinary true story.
What if the people we're waiting for in our future are already shaping us before we meet them?
When frazzled writer Melody May Meadows stumbles into a mysterious candle shop on the Isle of Skye, soaked, shaken, and fresh from falling off a mountain, she meets an enigmatic Scotsman known only as the Candleman.
Believing him to be Dunphee MacDuff, her rambunctious, gloriously unfiltered Scottish imaginary companion of five years, Melody launches into the extraordinary story of how she got there.
What unfolds is a wildly funny tale of grief, anxiety, therapy, creative paralysis, accidental disasters, and increasingly questionable life choices. Yet beneath the chaos lies a deeper mystery: a fleeting moment of impossible clarity and a mysterious equation that appears to govern the possibility of personal transformation itself.
As fragments of the equation appear in dreams, memories, hallucinations, clouds, and car windows, Melody is pushed towards the Scottish Highlands, where a new story is waiting to be written. Melody begins to suspect that the equation and the story are somehow connected. To change her life, she must first become the person capable of writing it.
But who are Dunphee and the Candleman? And why do these two mysterious Scots seem to know more about Melody's future than she does?
Blending outrageous comedy, Highland mystery, cosmic connections, magical metaphysics, and heartfelt storytelling, The Epiphany Equation is a funny, uplifting journey about grief, courage, creativity, and learning to trust the unknown.
Because sometimes the answer to the story you're searching for isn't waiting at the end of the road.
It's waiting for you to become the person capable of finding it ... and writing it down.
